Has anyone here seen this movie yet?
Run........don't walk to see this movie!
I am so happy we took the time to drive near Cleveland to see this movie. Since we live in a cave, or might as well when it comes to anything of culture, class, or coolness.....we must travel. (Unless you consider corn hole or mud running important)
We traveled to a very cool Cleveland neighborhood that includes a wonderful old restored theater that plays "Indie" type movies and such. It had a nice menu that included vegan wraps and serves wine and beer! (always a plus) We had a very nice sunny day to travel. We went to a little cafe nearby after getting our tickets. Then, It was time for the move! YEAH! I think you could hear a pin drop for most of the movie, except for after Jimmy played when the theater burst out with applause. There were chuckles here and there, especially seeing the wonderful Mr. Page play Air Guitar!
This movie is a must see for anyone that appreciates music. I know the guitar "techs" will love it even more. It was a movie that shows the true JOY and spirit that comes from something you love so much. It was such a gift to see it through these amazing men's eyes. I have found a new appreciation for Jack White, and even The Edge. You are taken into their world and given a new understanding for what they do and how they do it. Then of course.......there is James Patrick Page. What can I say except he is a master. When he walks into Headley Grange.......OMG......Goosebump time. I had a tear from time to time during the movie and a smile on my face the rest of the time.
Go see it if you possibly can.
Very few movies end with the entire audience sitting through the credits and applauding afterwards. This is one of them.
